Please be advised that Current / Savings Account Number has been expanded
from 10 digits to 12 digits in order to identify the currency of the
accounts.
The additional 2 digits will take the form of a prefix to the existing
account numbers, indicated as follows:
"00" - for Peso Current / Savings Accounts
"10" - for US Dollar Savings Accounts
"30" - for Third Currency Savings Accounts (i.e. AUD, CAD, CNY, EURO, GBP,
HKD, JPY, SGD)
For example:
1) Peso Current / Savings Account:
Existing 10-Digit Account Number - 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
Expanded Account Number - 0 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
2) US Dollar Savings Account:
Existing 10-Digit Account Number - 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
Expanded Account Number - 1 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
3) Third Currency Savings Account:
Existing 10-Digit Account Number - 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
