Note: For Pearl and other Sure-type phones press and hold the ALT key (Bottom left) and type E A C E, for Storm, hold the BACK arrow, and tap the screen in the following areas: TOP LEFT, TOP RIGHT, TOP LEFT, TOP RIGHT.

You should be presented with a screen like the one shown below:

Type the PIN, App Version and Uptime in the form below:

Now simply type the KEY directly on to that screen. Nothing will appear when typing. For numbers hold the ALT key when typing. Now you should be in the engineers menu - if you are not please try again ensuring the data you entered is EXACTLY as displayed. If you close the screen ensure you change the Uptime on the form. Navigate to ‘OS Engineering Screens‘ as shown below:

Now scroll down to ‘Device Info’ and then scroll down until you see MEP-XXXXX-XXX’ as shown below:

WHAT IS LOAD WALLET?

- It is an electronic storage that holds no expiry reserve load.

- No expiry reserve load is different from regular load or call/text load because it does not expire until it is converted

How do you load your Load Wallet?

Simply purchase no expiry reserve load from any SmartLoad retailers. Available amounts are: P30, P50, P100, P150, P300 and P500.

What can I do with no expiry reserve load?

    1. Load regular airtime or call/text offers ex. Smartalk, All Text etc.

        i. via menu

 2. Transfer no expiry reserve load to friend's Load Wallet

        - Go to Smart Menu, click Load Wallet  or ULoad and press OK.

This fake service will first lure you to to convert your ordinary mobile phone into an xray scanner.

It will then ask for your mobile number. User will unsuspectingly enter their mobile phone number out of curiosity, saying that they just want to try it since entering your mobile phone number is free.

User will enter their mobile number just to see what will happen.

It's free anyway.

Well, that's what we thought at first. Until our load is deducted with 10 pesos per day, yes, ten pesos, WTF right ?

This scam has been become popular on many countries, and our country Philippines is one of the place where this crime is happening.

The last one is what worked for me.

This method is for the Philippines only. If you didn't succeed the first time, just repeat until you receive a confirmation which usually takes up to 24 hours.

I can't imagine that a lot of people have become victims of the Binbit mobile Xray scanner sham. Come to think of it, how in the world can a cellular phone release or capture Xrays? Your subscription to the app costs a lot of money, right? So how do you unsubscribe from Binbit to get rid of it?


It's Sugar to the rescue!

I received by email from Dave, a friend, some unsubscribe commands and I'm happy to share these to you now. Try any of these codes to unsubscribe from Binbit:

• Just type UNSUBSCRIBEBINBIT
• or STOPBINBIT
• or CANCELBINBIT
• or QUITBINBIT
• or OFFBINBIT then send to 2474.

A confirmation message that you are already unsubscribed will be sent to you within 24 hours. You need to have at least Php1 load to send the request.

Option 1: via Key word

a. Type in MONEY and Send it to 343
b. Subscriber will receive a prompt to enter desired W-PIN.
c. Re-enter W-PIN and Press OK.
d. Choose ‘Get Account’ press OK
e. Subscriber will receive a confirmation message with his SMART Money Account.
f. Subscriber will receive a confirmation message that W-PIN has been set and Menu will be
updated.

Option 2: via SMART Money Menu

a. Go to SMART MENU and select SMART MONEY
b. Choose any transaction.
c. Subscriber will receive a prompt to enter desired W-PIN.
d. Re-enter W-PIN and Press OK.
e. Choose ‘Get Account’ press OK
f. Subscriber will receive a confirmation message with his SMART Money Account.
g. Subscriber will receive a confirmation message that W-PIN has been set and Menu will be
updated.

How to get your SMART Money card?

a. Go to the nearest SMART Wireless Center and accomplish a SMART Money Application Form.
b. Attach a photocopy of one (1) valid I.D. (e.g. driver’s license, passport, company ID, student ID,
TIN, SSS) and submit to an authorized SMART personnel.
c. If you choose an instant card (no name card), you may get your card from the wireless center
immediately after application; or
d. If a personalized card is preferred, the SMART Money card will be delivered to your mailing
address within 7 days (for NCR) or 10 days (for provincial).
